On offer today is an amazing vintage 1950s cotton day dress with blue and brown roses all over. It features applied gathered detail to waist, and the waist appears to be a slightly dropped or perhaps just long? Metal zipper to back not all the way up to the top, and the stitching above the zip is split. The seams are not overlocked and it's not lined. Features two buttons to the front, cross over bust and a sailor style collar. Has a full skirt shown with petticoat not for sale in this listing. The tag is very faded however still reads: Mary Charmaine creation. The fabric is beautiful brushed cotton which is still vibrant and soft. The under arms though they show no dicolouration or actual damage, they have been stitched due to possible tearing? But now are very secure though stitches are done poorly and can be seen. There is also a minor fabric pull to front at waist, perhaps a rose or something was attached there once?
