Happy Thursday :)
You would have read in my previous post that I was heading to a mojito night.
Nuffnang invited us to a mojito masterclass at Cuban bar, Los Barbudos on Smith St Fitzroy!
Cuba has always been an intriguing place to me and is a place high up on the list of my coveted travel destinations.
It is a country frozen in time. The only place in the world where everything is authentically vintage, and still being used as it always was. I think visiting would be magical.
I am strictly speaking about it’s aesthetics not the politics.
So I was excited to visit the Cuban influenced bar that night!
It was great to get dressed up!
I used to have a vintage stall on Smith St and visit here all the time, but not for years. It was great to visit :)
I loved all the period photographs on the walls.
Bar owner Tim gave us the history of rum which was really interesting! I’ve never really drank rum and his passion and enthusiasm got me excited to give it a go!
We then all sat down to be taught how to make our own mojitos!
I give the thumbs up to authentic Cuban mojitos!
Well that’s all from me!
Until my next post
